Maria Elisa Ayerbe is an audio engineer for GRAMMY and Latin Grammy nominated albums living in Miami, with more than 13 years of experience in recording, mixing, music production, and audio post production.
Maria Elisa has been part of the musical productions for artists such as Mary J Blige, Ricky Martin, Marc Anthony, JLo, Natti Natasha, Il Divo, Gian Marco, Laura Pausini, Juanes, Kronos Quartet, Nashville Symphony, Bogota Philharmonic Orchestra, New World Symphony, among many others. Since 2015, Maria has worked as recording and mixing engineer at Art House Studios, founded by multi-awarded GRAMMY and Latin Grammy producer Julio Reyes Copello, for the most important Latin and US Latin artists in the industry.
In 2016, Maria Elisa created the independent label South Mountain Music, as a platform to develop and produce inspiring music from upcoming and talented Latin America artists. She currently serves as Board Governor and Chair for the Producers and Engineers Wing of the Recording Academy, Florida Chapter.
Since 2007, Maria Elisa has worked as university professor teaching several courses related with audio and music in Colombia, Tennessee, and Florida. She has moderated panels and discussions for Grammy U, Music Expo, IMSTA Fest, and The Recording Academy, among many others in past years.

We measured and compare the frequency responses of the main mixing headphones on the market. Measurements were made using G.R.A.S 45CC using IEC 60318-1 ear simulator and Dewesoft AD conversion Sirius system.
