Tenere tracce e il click separatI dal microfono è difficile quando l’artista necessita di un volume alto del playback, per sentirsi nel groove e nel ritmo. L’isolamento delle R1 permette di tenere il click e gli elementi percussivi il più possibile fuori dal microfono. Prova ad ascoltare la fuoriuscita del suono tra le cuffie aperte X1 e fai il confronto con le cuffie chiuse, R1.

Siamo onesti - il suono lineare ammazza la sensazione di energia durante una registrazione, ma è necessario durante la fase di mixing. Le R1, con una taratura a forma di U (esaltando bassi ed alti), permettono all’artista di sentirsi nel groove, senza incertezze. Lascerà il tuo studio con una ripresa perfetta ed un sorriso.
COMODITÀ PER SESSIONI LUNGHE
Il fattore principale per il comfort sono i cuscinetti dei padiglioni, grandi abbastanza per coprire interamente l’orecchio. La rotazione e l’inclinazione dei padiglioni è istantanea, mentre la fascia autoregolabile assicura manegevolezza e vestibilità, da una testa all’altra.

The new R1 deliver outstanding performance, combining excellent sound accuracy with a well-balanced frequency response ideal for recording. As closed-back headphones, they provide strong isolation, ensuring clean monitoring without external interference. They are extremely comfortable even during long sessions, thanks to their ergonomic design and quality padding. The Alo Audio R1 is a closed-back headphone designed specifically for recording and tracking, not mixing—and Alo is refreshingly honest about that. Instead of chasing strict neutrality, the R1 uses a U-shaped tuning with elevated bass and treble to keep performers engaged during recording sessions. Build quality is excellent. The R1 uses real wood ear cups, metal hardware, and a modular design with easily replaceable pads, cables, and even drivers. This makes it far more serviceable than many headphones that become unusable when a single part fails. Sonically, the R1 emphasizes punchy bass and energetic treble, which makes tracks feel lively in the booth. Bass is elevated but remains controlled without excessive resonance. Treble is prominent enough to highlight transients and detail without the harsh spikes common in some bright headphones. The midrange is still present, but it sits slightly behind the bass and treble due to the overall tuning. Compared to more neutral studio headphones like the Rode NTH-100 or Neumann NDH-20, the R1 sounds more energetic and engaging, but less accurate for mixing. It’s clearly designed to make performers enjoy what they’re hearing rather than provide a perfectly flat reference. At around $500, the R1 isn’t cheap, and casual listeners could easily get a similar tonal balance through EQ or less expensive headphones. But for professionals who value durability, serviceability, and a fun tracking sound, the R1 is a well-built and thoughtfully designed option. Bottom line: The Alo R1 isn’t a neutral studio monitor—it’s a purpose-built recording headphone that prioritizes energy, durability, and long-term serviceability.
We, Just Visitors, are really happy, when using the Ollo R1. They really let us dive deep into our music, while recording, rehearsing or just jamming to find new ideas. It doesn't matter if we play piano, guitar, bass, drums or we are singing, these headphones just reflect any instrument in a beautiful way. Such a great tool to stay creative and in the music!
I find myself using the R1's more and more in the studio. They're easily the loudest pair of headphones I have, while also being the most isolated. They're fun to listen to and make me feel more connected to the space I'm recording in.
The new R1 headphones are even more closed than previous models and feature the warmth of Ollo Audio sound. They have become my go-to headphones for recording.

These are 100% the best headphones I have ever had. Clear, transparent and flat frequency response. the reason I got the R1 was because I had first purchased the X1 for mixing. I was so impressed that I proceed to also ordered the R1 as well! Look and feel is fantastic. I did notice a slight smell that I think are from the ear muffs of the R1 but I assume that will disappear over time. Well done guys! I will be recommending these to any and everyone I know

I was looking for a closed headphone with a response similar to my Sennheiser HD600 (which is open). The sound is very similar and very pleasing. I love the craftsmanship. Very well built and I love the fact that nearly everything can be replaced. Cord is a bit short. I thought the dampening from external sound would be better but I don't know if th is can be expected. On the whole, very comfortable and good sounding cans. I'm looking forward to try the X1

As a touring FOH Audio Engineer, studio engineer/producer, as well as multi-instrumentalist/singer(40yrs+ exp), I have heard, tracked, mixed and cued on a multitude of headphones over the years. Overall, that headphone experience has rarely been what I would call “pleasant”, but the Ollo Audio R1 Recording Headphones manage to be pleasant in many ways beyond just sound quality. Headphones for recording will be subjected to a gamut of scenarios that may not be apparent to someone doesn’t record/mix for a living! As a lead singer/guitarist, few things are as frustrating as struggling with ill-fitting, “meh” sounding headphones while tracking, particularly on live sessions. Comfort, fit and ability to “stay put” during a performance is crucial to that performance and your patience. The R1’s deliver on all counts, very comfortable, adjustable fit around the head, great balance across the top and they feel a lot lighter than they look. They feel substantially built to last and Ollo Audio has put thought into minimizing many common headphone fail points. A+! I tested these on various recording console outputs/headphone amps, a live audio mixing console as well as the monitor controller for my mix room which has very good headphone amps. Raw tracks can push headphones pretty hard when tracking, the R1’s handle the wide dynamic range with finesse, maintaining clarity and balance, and feel trustable as far as trying to dial in tones as a player. Balanced across the spectrum with plenty of midrange detail and “cut”. The high end is smooth and extended, really allowing you to hear different shades of detail in the stuff above 10 khz. The bass range is firm, present and controlled. The R1’s stereo sound field is wide and detailed with lots of definition in stereo placement, you can hear the minute differences between pan positions of instruments and ambiance/reverbs/etc. The visual simplicity of the Left/Right demarcation is appreciated after years of scanning all black headphones to confirm which side is which :). Black and Red mini-XLRs further help avoiding flipping the sides when connecting the stereo cable, as well as being robust connectors that might last a very long time, unlike so many headphone cables/connectors. Two other important factors for recording headphones are ear fatigue and noise spill. Fatigue can be achieved by listening/tracking for too long at too loud of a volume setting. The R1’s feel loud and clear and are so comfortable I could see feeling better for longer during tracking sessions. There is plenty of midrange detail and high-end clarity for tracking without excessive volume. Noise bleeding “out” of headphones is a common studio problem especially during vocal tracking sessions potentially with multiple vocalists, requiring editing out later where possible. The R1’s are shockingly quiet when the ear cups are together or fitted to your head. Very impressive on this feature! The price of the R1’s may be two to three times what a recording studio would spend on tracking headphones, but you get what you pay for in this instance. They are perfect for a musician or engineer’s personal tracking headphones and I would bring them to the session in the well designed and light weight carrying case. Great job Ollo Audio!! they sound great, good volume without distortion, good headphones for tracking vocals, guitar, bass, keyboards and acoustic instruments in general. I don't like the length of the cable that's too short and also I really can't use it for tracking drums: they fit too loose on my head for a drums tracking session, they tend to fall off my head while I play. I use GK-music Ultraphones for drums tracking sessions 😜

The device itself is fine, it's great. But I don't like the smell of the case.
The R-1 has enriched my musical life.The sound characteristics are similar to the X-1, but perhaps due to the closed-back design and tuning, the bass is captured more richly. I'd like to thank the production staff for creating such wonderful headphones.
Pleasantly surprised by the build quality. Much nicer than mass produced pairs I've used in the past. They come with a nice solid case which is great for keeping them safe when traveling. The ear pads fully cover your ears to prevent bleed when recording unlike most headphones I've recorded with in the past. I've been listening to a lot of EDM and they sound immersive. I can hear the mixes of music more clearly and notice things I haven't previously.
The sound is a little disorienting at first compared to the X1, the bass are present but not muddy. I noticed after about 60 hours of break-in that the bass are less prominent. It's a real pleasure to use. I recommend it 100%.
Another outstanding product! Every time I get some new Ollo headphones the result is fantastic. The quality of the hardware, the sound of the headphones and the comfort using them is unparalleled. Amazing product!

Имел уже предыдущие наушники s4r , но не хватало пространства и низкие очень не выразительные.....получив R1 был впечатлён тем как сделаны, шикарное дерево, черная металлическая рама, силиконовая вставка - все гармонично сложенно, удобно. Заменив кабель от Milian Acoustic (на все наушники я заказываю у них соответствующий кабель) прогрел сутки на различных шумах и треках ( по началу "уши" не впечатляли) но....после суток "прогрева" - наушники меня очень обрадовали!!! И радуют по сей день, очень интересно прослушивать любимую музыку и удивляться "новому" звуку! Очень нравятся мне они! Как звучат, как выглядят и как сделаны, чувствуется, что в них вложили душу! Я очень доволен! Была мысль покупать Audeze или также планарные HM - но теперь, нет! Ollo R1 все изменили, другого не хочу! Не хочу пластик , пластмассу - R1 и звук и материал на высоком, очень высоком уровне! Спасибо Вам братья! Я Очень доволен!! Благодарю, что сообщили вовремя о выходе новых R1 , было премиально купить из первой партии! Но есть пожелание, на s4r амбушюры с велюром сидели приятнее все же, уши не потели, на R1 ,вы сделали все из дерьмонтина, теперь есть у меня желание изменить амбушюры. Но это мое , сугубо мое мнение! Great recording headphones. I'm using to record acoustic and el. guitars and It's an absolutly awsome pleasure work with.
Love my new headphones. Switched earpads for the x1 ones. Less base but sound is a bit tighter and skinfeel is better. Although of course there is more leak of sound. X1 is still the better headphone but this one disturbed my wife less especially when watching films. Prefer the Ollo over the more expensive tago which have a similar professional background. Also more microdynamics than my Grados. Use them with nova the one from Ukraine. With tad blackplates and their 6922 everything sounds amazing.
Just like advertised, not what i would use for mixing nor mastering but fun for listening either for pleasure or for the takes. Pleasurable.

Arrived a week earlier than expected. Just lack of tracking from Fedex for that part, and waht looked like a spam invoice for Customs tax into UK, was in fact genuine and I had a paper copy sent the other week. They feel great, look and smell good to. Nice to see the upgrade on the cable showing L and R more clearly as the X1 have black etch on black with both red wires so that is not clear. I always put mine away after use, so it is always more time to get stuff plugged in! Otherwise, they top the competition, by a long way!
