Press Release: S4R Studio Headphones Discontinued
OLLO Audio announces the discontinuation of the S4R closed-back studio headphones. The S4R series, built on the foundation of the original S4 series, shared the same chassis and speakers, making them an excellent match with the S4 mixing headphones and later the S4X.

As the music industry evolves, headphone-based monitoring, mixing, and mastering have become increasingly popular. Many producers prefer the flexibility of headphones over investing in room treatment. OLLO Audio is committed to providing precise and adaptable monitoring solutions to meet these needs.
While we acknowledge the unique qualities of speaker-based monitoring, our focus is on what best suits your lifestyle, workflow, and budget. Our R&D team is dedicated to developing products that cater to these diverse requirements.

With modern productions primarily consumed on headphones, mixing with headphones first has become the norm. This shift was unimaginable over a decade ago when achieving a flat frequency response in headphones was challenging. OLLO Audio and a few other pioneers have redefined what "flat" means, ensuring seamless translation across various audio setups.

As the industry landscape changes, so does our product line. We are discontinuing the S4R to focus on the next generation of recording headphones.
