It has been incredibly valuable to have the Ollo S4X Reference Headphones as part of my studio arsenal, especially during the pandemic, when I couldn't take my mix somewhere else to listen. Having them at hand gave me the tools to keep working and trust what I was hearing.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m not saying that you should get rid of your favorite studio monitors but as a secondary pair of monitors or for those times where using monitors is not practical the S4X is a perfect candidate.

When I started to make 55, the album that I’m close to releasing, I was living in a caravan in the Outer Hebrides. My drummer and I were taking time out - him from session work and me from endless production of youngsters EPs - and our live room was a stone igloo by the Atlantic Ocean without a single straight line in its construction.
