Step 1: Register Your Unit

- Enter all the required details and submit.
- Navigate to the main menu and find the login button to access the backstage login.
- If you haven't created an account, click on "Create Account," even if your headphones are already registered.
- If you have an account, log in or use the "Forgot Password" feature.
- Once logged in, find the backstage link in the top left corner.
- Access the USC 2 download section.
Step 2: Obtain the Installer
- Locate the serial number of your headphones on the registration card or behind the earpads.
- Enter the serial number in the requested field and use the same email as your registration.
- Ensure there are no typos.
- After submission, save the link to your XPS calibration file to your system.
- Note the unique redeem code for downloading the USC 2 plugin, powered by Realphones. Copy it to your clipboard.
Step 3: Download the USC 2 Installer
- Visit the link provided after submission to access the USC 2 customer area with Realphones: https://uscii.dsoniq.com/redeem.
- Fill out the requested fields using the same email.
- Check your inbox, promotions tab, or spam folders for the login link sent by the registration system.
Step 4: Install the Plugin
- After email verification, log in at https://uscii.dsoniq.com/ using your email and new password.
- Download the Windows or Mac installer as needed and follow the installation guide.
- Change the output device to USC in case you'll use the system-wide app. If DAW only, you just restart it or in some cases rescan for plugins.
- For Mac users, access MIDI Audio settings to match the sample rate in the plugin and OS system in case of a system-wide app.
Step 5: Upload the Calibration File
- Choose the headphones profile and click the submenu icon in your USC plugin.
- Select "Edit Headphones" to enter the EQ section.
- Open the submenu at the bottom and select "Import."
- Locate the XPS file and click OK.
- You can now use the plugin with or without calibration data.
Step 6: Adjust Frequency Response
- If the frequency response doesn't fit your personal HRTFs, open the XPS file with a text editor.
- Update the correction values as desired and import the file again.
